The Start
I love outdoor running but rather than just randomly run I decided
to up the ante and run for bling and, as an added bonus, to become a
marathon rock star. To do this I needed to run in every race Elite
Racing sponsored during a
calendar year. In 2007 it was five. Supported by my husband, Donny, who
made all the
traveling arrangements, we criss-crossed the country from from west
coast to east coast, January through October. Success was ours, I made
the cut and have a Rock Star medal to prove it.Along the way I was introduced to a stretchy headband. Back home I tweaked the design, changing it up a bit and created SandyBands™. Machine wash, tumble dry. These bands sop up moisture in the heat, keep you warm in the cold, showcase your je ne sais quoi, and give you good karma all the time.
New for 2011 a SandyBands™ original creation, BootyBands™. The perfect way to hide your muffin top, panty line, add pop to your outfit.
